The long sleeve Gabba is one of the most versatile pieces of clothing. 100% wind protection with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® water protection and best in class breathability. The Perfetto RoS 2 is the one jacket that does it all well. If you look closely, the Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket is basically a long-sleeved version of the Gabba RoS 2. So just a warmer Gabba? Not quite. The full sleeves make it a jacket, but one that covers a wide range of conditions. As with the Gabba, the RoS mark means it excels in both dry and wet conditions thanks to Castelli's exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® material, thanks to its high breathability.

There's a lightweight fleece-lined water-repellent version on the front and a lighter and stretchier material on the back that maximizes breathability while still offering excellent water repellency. The Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket keeps out the cold wind while being much more breathable than the typical polyurethane membranes used on most jackets that aim to compete with the Perfetto. Staying drier means you don't need as many layers underneath.

The beauty of this jacket is that it has no insulation on its own, so a thin base layer is just right for mild conditions, while an additional insulating layer (a thermal jersey or Castelli's Alpha 2nd Layer) will take you to cold temperatures. You decide. The "2" part of the name refers to the updates in the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper with top and bottom openings for better ventilation. The reflectors on the back are more visible, the top shoulder seam has been moved to the back, and the three pockets offer more space for gear.

While the Perfetto is still trimmed for performance, the new model offers a little more room in the chest, shoulder and bicep areas. This is the jacket that belongs in every cyclist's quiver.
