Cooler, lighter, faster – get all three. The completely newly developed Aries Spherical is our best premium helmet ever. Its slimmer silhouette coupled with lower weight (only 265 grams in size M, CE certified) offers sensational comfort and cooling. Spherical Technology, based on the ball joint principle powered by Mips, offers additional safety by reducing rotational forces arising in certain impact scenarios.

Progressive layering with two-layer Nanobead EPS foam of different degrees of hardness ensures even more comprehensive management of the acting forces. The size of the 24 Wind Tunnel ventilation openings is maximized by the integrated AURA reinforcement arch, while comfortable Ionic+ antimicrobial pads and a network of internal air channels optimize wearing comfort.

From the proven reliability and flexibility of the Roc Loc 5+ Air adjustment system, to the solid underside protection to the careful manufacturing quality, the Aries is the epitome of top performance, safety and style.

STRUCTURAL STABILITY
The AURA II reinforcement bow of the GIRO Aries makes everything possible. These shatterproof, clear twin bridges run throughout the entire helmet, providing structural stability without adding unnecessary weight. The extremely low weight of the GIRO Aries (~5% lighter than the GIRO Aether), impressive cooling performance and slim, compact shape would not have been possible without the AURA II system.

SPHERICAL TECHNOLOGY
This unique Mips® supported ball joint construction helps redirect impact forces. Spherical technology also provides greater comfort, improved airflow and progressive layering (which combines two densities of EPS foam to handle a wide range of impact energy). The results are clear: The independent authority Virginia Tech has ranked the GIRO Aries number 1 in reducing the risk of injury.

MORE AERODYNAMICS FOR MORE SPEED
When it comes to riding fast, an aerodynamic helmet brings significant advantages. When developing the GIRO Aries, we focused on reducing the frontal area to reduce air resistance. Add to that tiny details like the beveled edges of the AURA II system and the carefully crafted internal channels that accelerate the air as it exits the helmet, making the Aries a helmet for climbing. Nevertheless, the Aries does not compromise on speed and reduces the aerodynamic drag by a further 4% compared to the Aether Spherical.

Researchers at the independent testing facility Virginia Tech ranked the GIRO Aries Spherical #1 in reducing the risk of injury. It's the best performing helmet they've tested to date, outperforming even much larger, bulkier helmets. COOL COMFORT
Deep, internal channels connect to the Aries' massive front and rear vents. This system ensures that cool air flows over the driver's scalp and exits at the rear to take away excess heat. The GIRO Aries outperforms our previous benchmark, the GIRO Aether, with a 2.3% improvement in cooling efficiency.

DRYCORE TECHNOLOGY
To further increase comfort, our DryCore™ sweat management system debuts on the GIRO Aries. This unique pad innovation uses an internal silicone bead to wick moisture away from the rider's forehead and eliminate the irritation of sweat dripping into the eyes.
