Newest chainring from Kappstein with BCD130 for your single speed and fixed gear bike

The Remus is the youngest chainring from the Kappstein portfolio. The design was created in collaboration with product designer Raphael Krome, who has already given our Ruphus its unique look. Although it appears rather delicate due to its narrow struts, it is very stiff and can therefore withstand all the high loads of fixed gear use. It is the first Kappstein chainring that uses the 130mm bolt circle. Optimized for single chains (1/2" x 1/8") and available in 4 different colors - the perfect extension of the Kappstein product range! 100% Made in Germany.​

"Round Teeth Design"
The cap stone "Round Teeth Design" is the further development of the usual pointed tooth design. Compared to other sprockets, the tooth contour of Kappstein chainrings and sprockets clearly shows that the teeth are wider and less pointed. The result is more efficient power transmission with optimal chain fit. It also increases durability because the chain can be better gripped and guided by the teeth. The “round-teeth design” is used on all chainrings and sprockets from Kappstein.
