The Kéo 2 Max Carbon pedal creates the confidence necessary to exceed personal limits. The Look design team has completely redesigned its shape, giving it a slimmer line and a wider support surface, which not only enhances the look but also increases efficiency. At just 125 grams, the Kéo 2 Max is lightweight and, thanks to its carbon body, nevertheless extremely robust.

The surface of the pedal has a certain symbolic meaning and acts as part of the brand identity. The Kéo 2 Max's support surface accordingly maintains the taut lines on which its history was built. Meanwhile, the width has been increased to 60mm to provide a larger platform and better foot stability when pedaling. This creates an unsurpassed feeling of comfort.
The Look team also optimized power transmission with the help of a 500 mm2 tread surface (increase of 25%). The shape of the stainless steel surface has been revised to match the design of the pedal plate and to maintain the same contact area for permanent power transmission regardless of the foot position (depending on the cleat and its maximum angle). Increasing the usable surface area without adding additional weight also improves the performance-to-weight ratio.

Look Kéo 2 Max with improved axle profile
The axle profile of the Kéo 2 Max has also been optimized. The oversize axle made of Chromoly Plus steel has internal ball bearings and a needle bearing located under the support surface to absorb and optimally distribute the load.
A new component has been added between these two bearings. The toothed washer that previously held the needle bearing was replaced by a conical spacer. This technical solution reduces friction, ensures increased smoothness and thereby reduces the geometric tolerances of the pedal body and pedal play. The sum of these improvements serves the sole purpose of guaranteeing exceptional reliability.
