Thanks to the smallest possible housing diameter, the current generation of Newmen FADE straightpull hubs impress with optimized aerodynamics, which reduces air resistance by 15% compared to the previous model. The goal in developing the FADE rear wheel hubs was to make the freewheel as quiet as possible with further improved reliability and the usual Newmen quality. The result is a completely new development with a large freewheel system in which three pawls now work instead of the previous two toothed washers. While the innovative design of the 33 teeth ensures a significantly reduced freewheeling noise, the very short and wide pawls enable a large and therefore gentle power transmission.
