Double Ratchet System – Precision and Strength
The patented Double Ratchet technology offers an impressive combination of robustness and efficiency. With 120 engagement points and an engagement angle of just 3°, the system ensures direct power transmission. The unique design with three toothed discs doubles the number of engagement points and distributes the forces evenly, improving the durability and rigidity of the hub.
In addition, the optimized bearing arrangement enables better load distribution and significantly extends the service life of the bearings. The hard anodized surface of the freewheel body protects against wear and guarantees long-term reliability.
Easy maintenance – for worry-free driving
The hub is designed to be easy to maintain without the need for special tools. Standardized bearing sizes make replacement easy and make the QVIST rear hub particularly easy to maintain.
Note: The main bearing seal requires a running-in period of approximately 200 km, during which the hub may be slightly stiffer.
