With the ROTOR ALDHU 3D+, ROTOR is finally moving into the fast lane when it comes to crank technology.

The ROTOR ALDHU 3D+ crank system for racing bikes was created together with the ROTOR VEGAST and shares its innovative and modular design. However, the ALDHU 3D+ has been extremely trimmed to be lightweight and, with its crank arms that weigh just 182 grams (with a length of 170mm and a system weight of less than 600g with one-piece chainrings 50/34), offers the extraordinarily high stiffness of the top class. Comparable crank systems from other premium manufacturers are well above the system price of the ROTOR ALDHU 3D+.
Assembly can be completed in minutes without specialist knowledge or special tools and changing the chainrings is just as easy. Thanks to the direct mount system, in which the blades are mounted directly on the shaft without a spider, a standard Allen key is sufficient as a tool. You can choose from the revolutionary combination chainring in one-piece design (chainring combination milled from a block) and single chainrings. Both in a round version or with the oval Q-rings from ROTOR with 12.5% ​​ovality. Alternatively, a direct mount spider can also be used, which enables the traditional mounting of two chainrings with chainring screws and expands the range even further.

The ALDHU, based on the ROTOR 3D+, is a fully modular system and completely dispenses with the set of left crank arm and combined axle/spider/right crank arm that has dominated for decades. In addition, the crank in the direct mount version breaks the magical 600g sound barrier downwards, making it the lightest ROTOR crank in the range without losing any of its stiffness.

The direct mount system of the ROTOR ALDHU 3D+ enables for the first time the fine adjustment of oval chainrings (OCP) in one-degree increments and thus an incomparable individualization to personal requirements. This gives the rider the best possible approximation to the best possible pedaling efficiency. The crank arms of the ALDHU 3D+ made of the high-strength and very light 7075 aluminum alloy are reworked/hollow-drilled using ROTOR's patented Trinity Drilling System and offer a perfect ratio of stiffness to weight.

ROTOR ALDHU 3D+ is perfect for racing cyclists who want a very light crank system without complications, with little maintenance and assembly effort and the ability to improve pedaling efficiency. It shares the driver's desire for individuality with crank systems in the very expensive premium lightweight construction class, but in contrast is affordable.
