A lack of willingness to compromise was the driving force behind the development of our Urban pedals. The core of Schindelhauer's philosophy is perfectly formed design with consistently high technical benefits. Visible not only in the frame, but also in components and accessories. Our urban pedals meet the high demands of daily bicycle commuters. The flat profile with a flat contact surface allows for secure footing. Regardless of whether it's a sneaker or a leather sole - a particularly non-slip, hard-wearing and long-lasting grip tape from the quality provider 3M provides perfect grip on almost every type of sole. At around 300g, the pair of pedals is particularly light. The longitudinal openings for using our pedal straps and the recesses in the high-strength aluminum housing are milled using a complex CNC process. For the Urban Pedals we opted for a combination of industrial and plain bearings in order to make the pedal as flat and as light as possible. The elegant transition to the crank appears almost seamless due to the omission of the usual wrench size.

Despite the low height of the pedals, using Schindelhauer pedal hooks and reflectors is possible without any problems. All commercially available pedal loops can also be attached to the pedal. The version with a titanium axle even manages a total weight of just 250g (with the titanium axle the rider's weight is limited to 80kg).
