Shimano brake disc Centerlock SM-RT70
The Shimano SLX 7000 group is characterized by an elegant new appearance and high-quality technologies. From cranks to rear derailleurs, front derailleurs, shifters and brakes to cassettes or hubs. And since, according to Shimano's system philosophy, the whole is more than the sum of its parts, this applies even more to the SLX as a complete group that definitely doesn't have to shy away from competition.
The SM-RT70 Ice-Tech brake discs feature a three-layer sandwich structure, with an aluminum core surrounded by two stainless steel layers. The aluminum dissipates heat better and reduces the surface temperature of the brake disc by up to 100 degrees. Optionally available Ice-Tech brake pads with aluminum cooling fins can also reduce the temperature by another 50 degrees. The result is high delay performance with virtually no fading tendency.
