The mechanical Shimano GRX rear derailleur RD-RX812 is characterized by quiet, smooth, precise and reliable shifting even in the most demanding terrain. This is primarily due to the Shadow RD+ chain stabilization system, which prevents the chain from hitting and unnecessary movements of the rear derailleur cage, thus ensuring uninterrupted shifting performance. Similar to Shimano's mountain bike rear derailleurs, there is an on/off switch next to the upper pulley. The rear derailleur pivot maintains a firm grip when operated to reduce excessive movement, noise and general chain noise.
