Shimano pedals and cleats are designed to function as part of a system and are optimally coordinated with each other to ensure safe and efficient power transmission. Replacement SPD-SL cleat with horizontal release. The pedal cleats have an easy entry and exit function. Red cleats have no freedom of movement, yellow cleats have 6° freedom of movement.- Specifically tailored to Shimano pedals to avoid damage
