Ultegra R8100 – Leave Time Behind
When developing the Ultegra R8100 series, Shimano pursued a holistic and 100% performance-oriented approach, because great speed means great responsibility. Faster than ever before, the 12-speed racing bike group scores points anytime and anywhere with incomparable control and comfort - whether in an open-air race, in the hunt for the personal best or on a friendly ride.
As with the Dura Ace R9200, not only does Hyperglide+ find its way into the components of the Ultegra, its Di2 components also rely on wireless technology to further simplify operation and ensure smooth switching processes.
The following components are required to commission the Ultegra Di2 R8150/R8170 complete group:
Bottom bracket + 4 x power cables EW-SD300-I: 1 x from battery to front derailleur (max. 1500 mm), 1 x from battery to rear derailleur (max. 1700 mm), 1 x from battery to right STI and 1 x from right to left STI
Composition of the Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8100/R8150 group:
- Ultegra Di2 ST-R8170 STI brake/shift lever (left + right)
- Ultegra BR-R8170 disc brake caliper (hydraulic, flat mount, front + rear)
- Ultegra FC-R8100 crankset, 172.5mm or 175mm
- Chainring: 50/34 teeth
- Ultegra Di2 FD-R8150 front derailleur (2-speed)
- Ultegra Di2 RD-R8150 rear derailleur (12-speed)
- Ultegra CS-R8100 cassette 11-34T
- Deore XT CN-M8100 chain (116 links, including quick link chain clasp)
- Deore XT RT-MT800 brake disc (Centerlock, 160 mm, 2 pieces)
- BT-DN300 battery (built-in type)
- EW-EC300 Power Cable (1700mm)
