The SON 28 is a hub dynamo that is universally approved for all wheel sizes (16" to 29"). It reaches the nominal performance in the 28" wheel at approx. 16 km/h (SONdelux 19 km/h). This makes it recommended if a particularly large amount of light is needed when driving slowly or if other devices need to be operated or their batteries charged . The new SON 28 is similar in structure and appearance to the SONdelux. In the standard version (non-disc), the flange distance and bearing distance are increased by 12 mm and 10 mm, respectively, compared to the SONdelux. Disc versions are available with 6-hole and center lock brake disc mount Compared to the SON 28 classic (model year 2000 to 2011), the idle losses were reduced by approximately 15% and the weight by 140 g.

Manufacturer's warranty:
We give a 5-year guarantee on the function of our hub dynamos, headlights, taillights and wheels from the date of purchase from a specialist retailer. The guarantee does not apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use or violence (such as an accident). In the event of a warranty claim, we will, at our discretion, repair the product or replace it with an equivalent product. We will also re-spoke a defective hub dynamo at our expense in the event of a warranty claim. Further claims are excluded. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
