SON Edelux II headlight for dynamo - black
The Edelux II is designed for hub dynamos that deliver 6 volts AC voltage. Even when driving slowly, it provides even, flicker-free light. When driving fast, the brightness increases to over 100 lux.
The light field is very wide, focuses well into the distance and has an even near field. Ideal both on dark paths and in traffic. Its parking light is so bright that it is good for more than just being seen and switches off automatically after 4 minutes.
Housing made entirely of aluminum
The aluminum housing looks good, is extremely robust and ensures good cooling and efficiency of the LED.
Optimal heat dissipation
The high-performance LED is soldered onto a copper heat sink, which in turn sits directly on the aluminum housing: best heat conduction guaranteed.
SON coaxial cable
Looks good and is extremely robust: the two-pole coaxial cable, specially made for SON.
Magnetic switch
The switch, which operates an internal reed contact using a magnet, is hermetically sealed and yet easy to use.
Potted electronics
Casting with epoxy resin makes the housing tight and protects the electronics from moisture and dynamic loads.
Anti-reflective glass
An anti-reflective glass instead of a plastic pane now allows light to pass through better. Aging and scratching are also no problem.
