A special rubber mixture and the integrated, non-slip diamond structure, similar to the SQlab mountain bike grip 7OX, ensure that the Gravel handlebar tape has a perfect grip in all weather conditions. Micro-vibrations are dampened by an absorbing layer and premature muscle fatigue is counteracted.

Simply wrapped - our size system
The three rows of knobs serve as a guide for the handle size or wrap thickness. The individually required wrap thickness can be determined using our template or at a SQlab specialist dealer.

vibration analysis
We have tested the 714 handlebar tape extensively and examined its damping properties. Our results clearly show that the micro-vibration-absorbing layer can effectively absorb vibrations from the road. Compared to a comparable damping handlebar tape, the 714 handlebar tape has an 11% lower root mean square (RMS) when riding in the lower handlebars, 13% lower in the upper handlebars and 14% lower when riding in the brake levers. This indicates that the SQlab 714 absorbs more vibrations.
