X-HORIZON™
The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON™ rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating so-called "ghost shifting" while reducing shifting force. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper pulley ensures a constant chain distance in every gear.

EXACT ACTUATION™
When they first introduced their road bike technologies, SRAM once again used their proven SRAM MTB 1:1 gear ratio for 10-speed gears (shift cable travel: rear derailleur movement). Exact Actuation helps create a simpler and more stable balance between rear derailleur suspension design, tight sprocket gaps and precise cable tension. The result: a switching system that is extremely easy to use.

ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™
ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ rear derailleurs offer maximum drive stability - even on grueling and highly demanding terrain. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ technology puts an end to wobbling derailleurs and banging chains - without sacrificing precision.

CAGE LOCK™
Thanks to the CAGE LOCK™ technology in the rear derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel and installing the chain are quicker and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock it.

X-SYNC™
X-SYNC™ ensures maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded sloping edges support the chain guide. To provide the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-SYNC™ chainrings feature dirt and mud evacuation recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. German-made X-SYNC™ chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1X™ drivetrain.
