The Apex 1 crankset completes the Apex 1 groupset, SRAM's most affordable road bike 1x groupset. With the patented X-Sync™ chainring technology, the Apex 1 crank runs quietly and safely. The Apex 1 is for all drivers who are looking for a wide range of gears and uncomplicated shifting technology.

X-SYNC™
X-SYNC™ ensures maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded sloping edges support the chain guide. To provide the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-SYNC™ chainrings feature dirt and mud evacuation recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. German-made X-SYNC™ chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1X™ drivetrain.
