In the past, White Industries has repeatedly encountered problems from users of other freewheel sprockets. Such as bearing damage caused by dirt, the unreliability of the ratchet mechanism and the too small selection of the number of teeth available. This led you to develop a new type of freewheel sprocket concept.
Instead of using 90 individual small beads as usual, we built the entire freewheel construction around a sealed industrial bearing. If necessary, it can be replaced in just a few steps. Almost all manufacturers such as Shimano and Suntour work with 20 freewheel pegs and 2 pawls. White Industries ENO freewheel has 36 notches into which 4 pawls lock securely. In addition to the industrial ball bearing, this mechanism is available separately sealed from 16 to 22 teeth, for narrow 3/32" chains
