WTB Resolute TCS Light Fast Rolling 700x42c - Black/Brown
With the all-weather tire Resolute 42, WTB is taking a new approach to the profile of tubeless gravel tires. The Resolute 42 is designed to withstand all weather conditions by combining the open profile of a mud tire with low rolling resistance on hard surfaces.
On the Resolute 42, small, square blocks with a small gap between each lug form a 1-2-1-2 profile in the middle of the tread. Further out there are staggered open tunnels that form a transition area. This area provides comprehensive support and effective self-cleaning in equal measure. The outer tread of the tire consists of supportive, slanted side lugs arranged in pairs, which also help prevent the tire from clogging. An additional layer of rubber is used on the outside of these lugs, which increases the contact area with the tire carcass and also protects the tire sidewall from abrasion. The Resolute 42 was developed around and for rims with an internal width of around 23 millimeters. This inner width guarantees a high-volume cross-section that is ideally tailored to the tire's profile.
Light Fast Rolling
The “Fast Rolling” tires come with Dual DNA rubber compound. DNA stands for the ideal combination of maximum propulsion, grip and durability. The tread is made of a harder rubber compound that increases smooth running and optimizes durability, while the side knobs are made of softer rubber with slower rebound, which significantly improves control and traction.
TCS (Tubeless Compatible System)
TCS tires shine with the driving advantages of a tubeless tire with the weight advantage of a non-UST tire. WTB's TCS tires combine a lightweight racing carcass with a tire bead compatible with the UST standard, designed for tubeless use. WTB's sealant system is used. The UST tire bead can also be mounted on normal hook or hookless rims.
