Update for the custom steel racer? Zipp Service Course components now also come in silver. There will be aluminum seat posts and stems as well as new handlebars for gravel bikes and racing bikes. The Zipp Service Course 70 XPLR (Explore) offers a design based on feedback from bike fitters and features the flattened ergonomic top link. The short reach allows for an optimal sitting position without having to make any compromises.

Developed according to the Americans' fit-first philosophy, the XPLR handlebars have a special shape to offer a lot of comfort and control on long bike adventures on and off-road.
The handlebars have a moderate flare angle of 5° for gravel bike conditions. This allows for a neutral, comfortable grip position in the most ridden position in the hoods. For demanding road conditions or if you want to let it run properly, the XPLR offers a very good opportunity to find balance on the bike thanks to its very wide lower handlebar grip position and therefore gives a lot of control. The large width is achieved by an outsweep (outside bend) at the handlebar ends of 11°. This means that the handlebar ends are 6 centimeters further out than the hoods. The shape of the drops has also been optimized for all-road use. A moderate reach of 70 millimeters ensures a compact seating position and a drop of just 115 millimeters allows you to sit upright enough in the lower handlebars to be able to take a central position on the bike on the trail. Even in the upper link position, the XPLR with 3° backsweep ensure a relaxed and ergonomically favorable grip position. For a clean look when using Shimano Di2 gears, the XPLR handlebars are compatible with the EW-RS910 junction box built into the handlebar end.
